Emma H. (Briggs) Troiano, 94, of Walpole died October 30 in the Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation Avery in Needham. She was the wife of the late Frank Troiano.
Born in Boston, August 8, 1920, the daughter of the late George O. and Mary (Harrington) Briggs, Mrs. Troiano had lived in Walpole for over 80 years.
Mrs. Troiano had been a statistician at Kendall Mills in Walpole for several years.
Emma was an active woman all her life.
She was a member of the Senior Hiking Team, was an avid snowmobiler and loved to be in the outdoors. She was not afraid to do anything.
Emma with her late husband Frank was avid ballroom dancers.
She is survived by her son Rodney Troiano of Walpole and was the mother of the late Nancy Morin. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Diane Morin.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4 in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street Walpole at 10:00a.m.
Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
Visiting hours will be on Monday from 6-8 p.m.
