Lillian I. (Lee) Frail, 98, 0f Manchester, passed away October 28, 2014, at Hanover Hill HealthCare Center in Manchester.
She was born in Waltham, MA on December 26, 1915 to Myron and Greta (Ayer) Nystrom. She was a graduate of Waltham High School, Waltham, MA and lived in Manchester for over 30 years.
Lillian worked for many years as a bookkeeper with Nickerson Lumber Co., on Cape Cod. She also worked for the medical office of Dr. Friedman & Dr. Carrier, in Manchester, retiring in 1994. She enjoyed the ocean, had a passion for reading and a love of friends and family. Lillian will be remembered for her keen sense of humor, but more so as a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Philip Frail in 1983; a daughter, Judith Frail in 1996; and a sister, Audrey Johnson.
The family includes two daughters, Linda Ferguson of Harvard, MA and Janet Roche and her husband Michael of Hooksett, three grandchildren, Sarah Rudy and husband Jonathan of Somerville, MA, Michael Ferguson and wife Emily of Arlington, MA, and Meghann Lima of Manchester; great granddaughter, Nora Grace Rudy of Somerville, MA; a brother, Foster Nystrom of Williamstown, MA and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service took place on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Hooksett Congregational Church, 5 Veterans Drive, Hooksett, NH 03106. Memorial donations may be made to: the Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Rd., Manchester, NH 03102. A special thank you to the staff at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center for the wonderful care she received over the past five years. Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
