Obituary

Fernand E. Gamelin, 92, of Manchester died peacefully October 29, 2014 after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on October 13, 1922, he was the son of William and Ida (Belliveau) Gamelin. Educated in the local school system, he graduated from Manchester West High School. During WWII, he served in the US Army.
Prior to retirement, Fernand had been employed as a truck driver by the Teamsters Local Union 633.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Granite State Morgan Horse Association and the Teamsters Union.
He was predeceased by his wife Charlotte (Manseau) Gamelin in 1995. He was also predeceased by three son-in-laws, Edward Berger, Alan Berry and Leo Cloutier.
Family members include his daughters, Maureen Cloutier of Venice Fl., Linda Berger of Manchester, Fernande Curley and husband Buddy of Pembroke and Lynn Plourde and husband Phillip of Allenstown,; one sister-in-law, Rita Randall of Chicago; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The funeral service was held on Monday, November 3, 2014 in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. Burial was in St. John’s Cemetery, Suncook.
