Scott W Drosos, 22 of Rockland, MA died on Tuesday 28 at Boston Childrens Hospital after long, brave fight with Leukemia.
Scott was born in Brockton in 1992 and lived the majority of his life in Rockland. despite battling the disease for 10 years Scott successfully completed the automotive program at South Shore vo-tech in the spring of 2012. Scott initially went to work for the Vinny Costanzo Paving company of Stoughton where he was a valued member of their team. Scott then went on to secure a position in his chosen field working at Tufankjian Hyundai of Plymouth. Scott enjoyed working there and looked forward to each new challenge. Scott loved riding his quads, working on cars with his brother and father and spending time with his family and friends. Scott was devoted to his family and believed family was everything.
Scott was survived by his devoted father William Drosos and his step-mother Michele Lesha of Rockland. His mother Kathy (Robertson) Drosos of Abington. His loving grandmother Lorraine Drosos and her partner William White of Whitman. His amazingly supportive brother William Drosos III, his sister in law Jennifer Jones and his two nephews William IV and Jacob Drosos of Waltham. He was also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins who tirelessly supported him during his most difficult days. Scott was the grandson of the late William Drosos of Whitman and Louise(Robertson) Buker and her husband William Buker
His services will be held on Monday November 3rd at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 2nd from 3:00-7:00 PM.
