Edward S. Farrell, 90, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Helen (Peckham) Farrell of Fall River.
Born in Fall River, son of the late Edward and Edna (Cullen) Farrell, he had resided in Somerset before to moving to Fall River. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an ambulance driver for the Newport Naval Base. A veteran of WWII, Mr. Farrell served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors along with his wife include 3 daughters: Susan E. Charette of Westport, Cathleen F. Senra and Christine F. Feldman, both of Fall River; 1 brother: Donald Farrell of Cape Cod; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
