New Bedford-Caroline G. (Galary) Marcello died Monday December 18, 2004 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was the widow of Joseph Marcello. Survivors include a son Robert J. Marcello husband of Rosita of Bronxville N.Y. Daughter Nancy A. Wife of Barry Starr of New Bedford, Grandson Joseph Marcello of Bronxville N.Y., and a Grandaughter Bethany A wife of William C. Walton of Eastham, Ma. She was also survived by several nieces, and nephews, greatnieces, and greatnephews.
Mrs. Marcello was the daughter of the late Agnieska ( Wolak ) and Stanislaw Galary. She worked at the local textile mills as a stitcher and also worked in the housekeeping department at St. Lukes hospital. She was a member of the Polish Womens Club, She also loved knitting embroidering sewing and taking trips with the senior citizens. She loved devoting her time and energy to help out her church.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday December 9, 2004 at St. John the Baptist Church at 9 A.M. Visiting hours will be Wednesday December 8, 2004 from 4-7 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.
