Sallie Adams
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, October 27, 2014, Mrs. Sallie Reynolds Adams, 78, loving wife of 60 years to the late James E. Adams, Sr.
Mrs. Adams was a member of Central Christian Church & Thunderbird Boat Club for 35 years. She retired from the Columbia County Board of Education and worked in the lunch room at Evans High School for 20 years. She enjoyed fishing, the lake, and her family.
Family members include her sons: Ricky Gene Adams (Denise), Ronald Grover Adams (Teresa), Donald Reedy Adams; daughters: Glenda Adams Buchanan (Scott), Janice Jones; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers: James “Buddy” E. Reynolds, George W. Reynolds; and sisters: Mary Reynolds and Katie Padgett. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her son, J.E. “Jimmy” Adams, Jr. and by her sister, Geneva Sizemore.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Emmitt Tip Carroll officiating.
