TEWKSBURY: KungSoo “Chris” Kim, 57, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on October 25, 2014 after a four year battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of KyungSun “Sunny” (Jang) Kim with whom he shared twenty-three years of marriage.
Born in Inchon, Korea on April 4, 1957, he was the son of HyeSook (Lee) Kim and the late Young Yoo Kim. Chris was a resident and business owner in Tewksbury for many years. He owned Happy Cleaners and also worked at Auto Tech Used Cars and Garage also in Tewksbury. In his spare time he enjoyed golf, tennis and cars.
In addition to his loving wife he is survived by his daughters, Deborah and Maria Kim; sisters, HyunSoo Lim and her husband, ByoungKyu Lim and Kyung Soo Kang and her husband, MyungSuk Kang; nephews, Peter Lim and Andrew and Tim Kang and his niece, Tina Chung and his beloved dog, Pelusa.
Visiting hours for Chris will be held in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950 Tuesday, October 28th from 4 – 7 PM, with a service to be held at 7 PM. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
