A local Westport Artist, whose painting gave her joy into her 91st year, “Ann” (Dupre) Taylor, passed away with her niece Linda by her side, on October 24, 2014 in New Bedford. She was the wife of the late John A. Taylor, Sr. and the former wife of the late Everett Richard.
She was born on January 29, 1923 as Rolande Dupre in Fall River to the late Narcisse Dupre of Quebec and Albina (Rivet) Dupre of Ontario. She was the last of 8 surviving siblings. She is survived by many family members including her nieces Jackie and Janine and nephew Bobby.
Ro-Lande will be laid to rest with her late husband of 23 years, John A. Taylor, Sr. in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
To honor her wishes, no services will be held.
