Obituary

Eunice B. Watson, 83, a resident of Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement in Manchester, NH died comfortably with her family by her side on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH after a brief illness.

She was born in Haverhill, MA on October 24, 1931. Eunice was the daughter of Simeon H. Boutilier, Seabright, Nova Scotia and Alice Jollimore Boutilier Forsyth of Haverhill, MA.

Eunice attended New Bedford High School in New Bedford, MA, graduating in 1950. Shortly after graduating she was employed as a bookkeeper and switch board operator with Hathaway Oil Co. in New Bedford. During her lifetime she held several bookkeeping positions for various businesses throughout MA, RI, and NH, retiring as a Sales Account Administrator from Digital Equipment, Bedford, NH, in the early 1990s.

Eunice was a cancer survivor. Through the years, she enjoyed playing golf, bowling, entering her crocheted afghans at local fairs, going to flea markets, spending many summer days at the beach, a good game of scrabble, playing cards, winning at bingo and most of all, shopping. She loved getting together and spending time with her family. She had a huge heart and was always willing and ready to help others.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah J. Breton, Somersworth, NH and a son, Robert W. Watson, Springfield, VT. Eunice has 5 grandchildren, Joel Breton, Hooksett, NH, Jill Pomeroy, Newmarket, NH, Nathan Watson, Goshen, NH, Jason Watson, Newport, NH, Aaron Watson, Lempster, NH, and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother, Dallas Boutilier, No. Dartmouth, MA.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in her name can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association of New Hampshire.

She will always be with us.
