FRECHETTE- Daniel D., age 67, of Tewksbury, formerly of Arlington and Easthampton, passed away Oct. 26, 2014. Beloved husband of Margaret Mary "Margo" (Doherty). Son of Kathleen (Quinn) (Frechette) Wesley and her late husband Robert of Westfield and the late Harvey Frechette. Father of Brian L. Frechette and his wife Kathy of Hudson and Stephen P. Frechette of Newton. Grandfather of Elyse, Emilie, and Allison Frechette. Brother of Mark Frechette and his wife Tarey of Manchester, Christine DiBiasio and her husband Mert of Middletown, CT and Lisa Duvall and her husband Michael of Holyoke. He also leaves Aunt Yvonne Gaudette and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dan was raised in Easthampton, attended the Immaculate Conception school, graduated from Munson Academy in 1966, and received his B.A. Degree in History from Northeastern University.
He served as a police officer for the Northeastern University Police Department and previously for Children's Hospital Medical Center Police combining over 35 years of service. Dan was a proud grandpa, sports enthusiast, and avid reader.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
