Mark P. Fonseca, 33, of Hudson, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 25th at his residence. He leaves his loving parents, Carlos and Olivia (Pereira) Fonseca of Port Richie, FL.
Mark was born in Framingham and raised in Hudson. He attended local schools and was a 2000 graduate of Hudson High School. He later received his Associates Degree from St. Petersburg College in Florida. Mark was a veteran of the Gulf War serving in the U.S. Army until being honorably discharged in 2013. His tours of duty included Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan. He was currently employed as a project manager for Harvard Maintenance Company of Fort Devens. He was a member of the Hudson Eagles and member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Richard Fonseca and his wife Maria Luiza and their children, Richard, Simon and Pricilla Fonseca, all of Hudson. He is also survived by his fiance and expectant mother of his child, Amy Buxton of Hudson; his uncles; aunts; many cousins and friends.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 29th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Tuesday, Oct. 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
