John L. “Jack” O'Brien, 63 of Derry, NH, died Sunday, December 5, 2004 in Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mr. O'Brien was born in Boston, MA on August 6, 1941, a son of the late John J. and Mary R. (Sylvester) O'Brien. Mr. O’Brien grew up in Charlestown, MA and had been a resident of Derry for over 15 years, formerly living in Salem, NH. He was self-employed as a paperhanger. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Charlestown, MA and a member of the Majestic Knights Drum & Bugle Corps. He enjoyed computers, music and photography..
He is survived by a daughter, Julie Rizzi and her husband Brian of Stamford, CT, a sister, Julie Kilpatrick of Hanover, IL, two brothers, George S. O'Brien of Lynn, MA and Fred O'Brien of Dedham, MA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 10th, at 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, with cremation following.
