TEWKSBURY: Shirley A. (Frykberg)Hebert, age 56, a resident of Tewksbury for 19 years, formerly of Winchester, passed away at the Blaire House of Tewksbury on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
Born in Winchester on October 20, 1958, she was the daughter of Gail (Simonds) (Frykberg) Crosby, who survives her, of Billerica and the late William Frykberg.
Shirley attended Winchester Schools. Following high school, she entered Northeastern University, where she received her degree in Criminal Justice.
Shirley worked as a legal secretary and in recent years she bred and showed A.K.C. Registered Yorkshire Terriers.
She enjoyed reading, craft projects, crocheting, volunteering for crisis support organizations, and supporting numerous charitable organizations.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Valene M. Hebert and Shannon C. Hebert both of Lowell; eight grandchildren, Christian, Kyle, Savannah, Justin, Audrina, Colton, Ricky and Annelise; two brothers, William Frykberg of Stoneham and Michael Crosby of Lowell.
Shirley was the mother of the late Gilbert M. Hebert, who passed away June 30, 2006.
Calling hours Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. at the Wildwood Cemetery, Palmer St., Winchester. Please meet at cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the M.S.P.C.A.-Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
