She graduated from Notre Dame High School, earned her Nursing degree from Quinsigamond Community College, and later graduated from Anna Maria College with a Masters Degree in Environmental Sciences. Her adventurous spirit landed her various jobs with the Navy in Key West, FL, and multiple government positions in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She later worked as a Human Resources Manager for L&R Sales in Worcester for many years. Her hobbies and interests included gardening, cooking, antiquing, sewing, photography, and interior decorating. She was an avid reader and a history buff. As part of her love for history and adventure, she traveled by auto to all 49 continental United States and explored the roads less traveled. Although she had many favorites, she loved the sounds and smells of the ocean and spent many wonderful days in her Wellfleet and Key West homes. Despite all the wonderful places she called home, none compared to her beloved Browning Pond.
