Obituary

AGAWAM – Victor F. Renaud, 69, of Agawam, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. He passed into Eternal Life at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Springfield on November 7, 1944, a beloved son of the late Victor L. and Gisele (Gendron) Renaud. He was raised in Springfield, graduated from local schools and moved to Agawam around 1973. He was last employed as a welder for the Titeflex Corporation in Springfield and previously worked at the former American Bosch in Springfield. He was the immediate past president of the Bosch Travel Club. He leaves his loving sister and brother-in-law, Michelle “Shelly” D. Thomas and her husband, William LaBrie, of Agawam; his cherished niece and nephew, Amber Zawrotny and Matthew Zawrotny; and his many cousins, friends and extended members of the Renaud and Gendron families. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his loving sister, Carol Anne Zawrotny. His relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Springfield Chapels, (413-737-1177), 7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107. His burial will be private at the convenience of his family. His family has requested that memorial donations be made in his memory to the American Bosch Senior Travel Club, 42 Linden Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
