Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on October 22, 2014. Preceded in death by wife Janet; father Leo; mother Ruby; granddaughter Becky; brothers Arlin, David & Dennis. Survived by children Sandra Koehler (Greg), John (Krissy), Pamela Moen (Paul), Tony (Bonnie), Robert (Billie Jo) & Nancy Cashman (Guy); grandchildren Christopher (Vicki), Janis, Terra, Michael, Joseph (Katie), Donald (Christine), Erin & Nicole; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sisters Rose Skillings, Beverly St. Martin, Patricia Straight Cokley (Jerry) & Joyce Volk (Roger); sister-in-law Sharon Hennessey (Tom); many nieces & nephews. Served 22 years in the US Army, 101st Airborne Division, Sergeant First Class. Lifetime member of VFW Post #1350. Service Wednesday (10/29) at 11:00 AM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, with visitation starting at 9:00 AM. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. We could not have had a better dad & grandpa.
