Joanne F. (Ghelli) Retecki, 66, of Newport, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 21. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruno P. Retecki, her lifelong love, who died September 4.
Born in Framingham, May 5, 1948, the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Nadreau) Ghelli, Joanne was raised and lived in Medway until moving to Mendon in 1993 where she lived until retiring to North Carolina in 2004.
She was a loving and devoted wife, precious mother, aunt, grandmother, sister and friend, always putting others before herself. She had the most generous, loving heart, and touched many lives with her presence. Joanne especially loved knitting, Patriots football games and spending time with her family. She was a loyal and successful business woman that worked very hard up until retirement.
She is survived by daughters Tanya Langdon of Newport, North Carolina and Christina Heisler and her husband Ronald of Mendon, Justin Ghelli of Franklin and Melinda Currul of Medway.
She is also survived by her brother Kenneth Ghelli and his wife Janice of Newport, North Carolina and Sandra Ghelli of Ocean Ridge, Florida.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Ghelli.
She cherished her grandchildren; Taylor, Jack and Daniel as well as Stefan, Sarah, Ava and Ayden.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, October 30 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com ) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:000.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m.
