Obituary

Hernan “Papi” A. Guerrero, 73, of Millis, formerly of Chile, S.A., died suddenly October 22 at his home. He was the husband of Olga (Silva) Guerrero for the past 54 years.
Born in Iquique, Chile, November 20, 1940, the son of the late Juan A. and Marta (Lopez) Guerrero, Mr. Guerrero had lived in Millis for many years.
Mr. Guerrero was a builder, a talented woodworker, a pilot, an inventor and a world class chef of Chilean cuisine.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Veronica (Guerrero) Kelly and her husband John of Medway, Victoria (Guerrero) Malinn and her husband Michael of Medway, Cristina Guerrero Malinn and her husband Francis of West Roxbury and Hernan A. Guerrero, Jr. and his wife Heather of Medway. He was the father of the late Carolina Guerrero Strebel.
He will be missed terribly by is grandchildren Joseph, Cristina, Veronica, John, Victoria, Elizabeth, Christopher, Sofia, Anthony, and Zoe; and his great-grandchildren John and Liliana.
His funeral will be held on Monday, October 27 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 151 Village St., Medway at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to St. Joseph Academy, 145 Holliston Street, Medway, MA 02053.
