Cherished mother of Walter Gerald Robinson of Malden, Maelinda Morani of Lawrence, Judy Robinson of Lynn, and Tom Robinson of Reading.
Loving sister of Tom Redmond of Medford, Margaret Farwell of Canton, the late Gerald Redmond and Theresa Naugler.
Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be celebrated in the Brown-Flaherty Funeral Home, 261 Washington Street, Union Square, Somerville on Saturday at 11am.
Visiting hours will be held from 9am-11am on Saturday prior to service. Relatives and friends gratefully invited.
Joan was a lifelong resident of Somerville, employed as a Teacher’s Aid at Somerville High School. In retirement she volunteered her time working with Somerville’s Senior Citizens. Joan and her husband Wally created and managed the Somerville Bargain Mart, a popular summertime fixture from 1978-1992.
Interment Cambridge Cemetery.
