Sandra Flynn, 78, of Merrimack, died October 22, 2014 at Holy Cross Health Care Center, after a brief illness.
She was born in Somerville, MA on August 6, 1936 the daughter of Theophilos and Asemo (Davos) Stavrinos. Sandra was a graduate of Somerville High School and began working for John Hancock Insurance Co. thereafter. She later worked in Direct Mail Marketing with Watson Mailing Co. for over 20 years and went on to retire from DR Graphics in 2010, after 4 years of employment with the company. In her spare time, she enjoyed needlepoint and antiques.
Sandra was predeceased by her loving husband, John (Jack) Flynn in 1983.
Family members include four sisters, Venetia Mitropoulos and husband John of Reading, MA, Demetra Morakis and husband John of Waltham, MA, Lydia Stavrinos of Merrimack, and Mary Lehnert of Merrimack; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and her beloved cat Onnie. She was also predeceased by both of her parents; a sister, Mary Francoeur; and two brothers, John and George Stavrinos.
A Funeral Service was held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 111 Island Pond Road, Manchester, NH. Burial will be held private to the family.
