Billy M. Adams, 71, of Daleville died on October 23, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born on March 9, 1943 in Anderson to Ralph and Sudie (Ralston) Adams.
He was a millwright on skill trades at Delco Remy for 32 years and retired in 1996.
He was a member of the American Legion in Chesterfield, Rifleman, AWRL- Ham Radio Operator "WD9AIH". He enjoyed working on cars and drag racing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Williams) Adams of Daleville whom he married on Sept. 3, 1973 in Anderson; a stepson, Rodney Thomas of Greenfield; and his faithful companion, " Missy".
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Sudie Adams.
Services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 10:00am at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. The burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 2-6pm at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
