Wendy Jean Robarge, 57, of Derry, NH passed Wednesday October 22, 2014 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Haverhill, MA on November 28, 1956, a daughter of Truman “Scotty” Britton and the late Georgianna (Knowles) Britton. Wendy was employed as a housekeeper at the Comfort Inn of Londonderry. She loved to cook, enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw puzzles and her beloved cat Natasha. She loved spending time with her family and will forever be remembered for the special times she enjoyed with her father and grandchildren. Wendy was also a member of the Halcyon Club in Derry.
In addition to her father, members of the family include her son Jason Robarge; her partner of 25 years, Richard True; four brothers, Gary, Larry, David and Randy Britton; two grandchildren, Dylan and Kaylee Robarge; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Wendy was predeceased by her mother and by a brother, Wayne Britton.
After cremation, visiting hours were held Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry with a celebration of her life that followed at 4 pm in the funeral home.
