James "Jim" Edward Ferguson

James "Jim" Edward Ferguson, 69, of Anderson died on October 21, 2014 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born on December 10, 1944 in Anderson to Orville M. and Bernice I. (Creamer) Ferguson.
He worked at B& G Quality Tool and Die from 1962-1975, B& L Tool (HyTech Automation) from 1975-1976, Delco Remy & Continental Design from 1976-1988, Delco Remy in Mexico from 1980-1981, J&J Tool Company where he was the owner and operator from 1984-1997, He went to Burlington Trucking School in 2001 and became an Over the Road Driver from 2001-2014.
He was a NASCAR enthusiast and enjoyed Music especially the guitar and piano, attending auctions, flea markets and playing the Lotto. He was a member of the NRA.
He is survived by his wife, Willie J. (Kates) Ferguson of Anderson whom he married on July 17, 1961. 4 children, Mitchell D. Ferguson, Cynthia J. (Ferguson) Harvey, Angelita J. Ferguson, and Matthew D. Ferguson; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and expecting his first great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jimmy Dickerson, Harvey Parks, Stan Lay, and Dave Linzey.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Marc Ferguson; 2 brothers, Mike Ferguson and Larry Ferguson; and a sister, Marilynn Eldridge.
His services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 2:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. The burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12noon-2:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
