ROYER - Delbert E. "Del" Royer, 74, of Yulee, FL passed away early Thursday morning, October 23, 2014 at the Community Hospice Warner Center in Fernandina Beach, FL.
He was born September 6, 1940 in Union Bridge, MD. He graduated from Dover High School, Dover, PA in 1958. Mr. Royer lived in North York until 1999 when he moved to Millsboro, DE; and in 2005 he moved to Yulee FL.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of the American Legion in Fernandina Beach. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a devoted husband, father and "Poppop."
Mr. Royer was predeceased by his son, Steven Royer who passed away in 2007.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carol Royer, of Yulee, FL; two brothers and sisters in law, Richard and Pat Feeser of Richmond, VA, David and Lynn Royer of Jacksonville, FL; a sister and brother in law, Ruth and Melvin Heidler of Dover, PN; his daughter in law, Tammy Royer of Hilliard, FL; two granddaughters, Ashley Royer of Jacksonville, FL and Jessica Royer of Gainesville, FL; and two great grandchildren, Beau Harnage and Sadie Harnage.
