Kevin T. Tarnowski, age 56, passed away on Oct. 18, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke on Oct. 24, 1957, a son of the late George and Mary (Walsh) Tarnowski. Kevin moved to Edgewood, Ky in 1995. He worked as an aircraft load agent for Delta Airlines for 28 years before he retired in 2009. He also worked for C.V.G Airport Authority as Security in Coventry, Ky and at the Edgewood Tavern in Ky, where he considered it as the best job of his life. He recently moved back to Chicopee, Ma. He leaves 1 brother, George Tarnowski and his wife Carol of Chicopee and 1 sister, Kim Philibotte and her husband Joseph, of Chicopee. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the service from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
