Gail M. (Oberlander) Kirchdorfer, 71, of Medway died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of William G. Kirchdorfer since 1963.
Born in Everett on September 3, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Muriel (Abriel) Oberlander.
Mrs. Kirchdorfer was a resident of Medway since 1967. She grew up in Millis and graduated from Millis High School in 1961.
Before her retirement, she worked in mental health services for the State of Massachusetts for 30 years.
Mrs. Kirchdorfer enjoyed bingo, coupon collecting and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter Cherie Donovan Cleary and her husband Joseph of Franklin and two sons, Steven Kirchdorfer of Medway and Kevin Kirchdorfer and his wife Katherine of Texas.
She is also survived by six grandchildren, Ryan, Shannon, Brandon, Connor, Vanessa and Hannah, three great-grandchildren Donovan, Emerson and Colin and a brother Chet Oberlander and his wife Marjorie of Texas.
Her memorial service will be held privately at the Medway Village Church in Medway.
