Dante Damone Johnson, 49, of Anderson died on October 17, 2014 at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis following a sudden illness.
He was born on March 28, 1965 in Akron, Ohio.
He worked in labor at American Metal Coating for 9 years. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. He loved his children, jazz music, sports, and working out.
He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Crider of Indianapolis; grandmother, Dora Johnson of Anderson; Fiancee', Brittany Draper of Anderson; 4 children, Janessa Lopez of Houston, TX; Bradley Corlew, Kinsley Johnson, Kya Grace Johnson all of Anderson; Grandchild; Alexis Lopez of Houston, TX; Brother, Bryan Crider of Indianapolis; Aunts and Uncles, Rev. Mary (Stanley) Larkins of Indianapolis, Rev. Henry L. Johnson III of Columbus, OH; Terry L. (Alicia) Johnson Sr., Robert Johnson, and Johnnie Johnson all of Anderson; several cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Gould; grandfather, Rev. Henry Johnson Jr.; Aunt, Diane Willis.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 2:00pm with Rev. Henry L. Johnson III officiating at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
The Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
