Patricia A. Topalian, 73, of Auburn died Sunday, October 19th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus in the company of her three grandsons. Her husband of 32 years, Garabed J. Topalian died in 2007. She leaves three grandsons whom she raised, Robert Smith of Brooklyn, NY, Matthew Topalian of Clinton and Christopher Topalian of Auburn; a step-daughter, Susan Topalian of Florida; a step-son, Michael Topalian and his wife Dorian of Worcester; a brother, Ronald T. “Terry” Grady, Sr. of Auburn and a sister, Eva G. Nowalski of Worcester. She was predeceased by a sister, Dora Orcutt.
She was born in Brooks, Maine the daughter of Ronald G. and Elizabeth A. (Pollard) Grady and graduated from South High School. After retiring Patricia worked with the elderly caring for them in their homes. She enjoyed playing cribbage, watching old movies and going to karaoke with her mother.
Calling hours are Friday, October 24th from 9:00 until 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester followed by a service. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester.
