LeRoy C. “Lee” Matthews, 67, of Hudson, NH died Saturday December 4, 2004 in Mass General Hospital, Boston, MA. Lee, as he was known, was born in Manhattan, NY on February 12, 1937 a son of the late Edward and Mary (Beck) Matthews. He had moved to Hudson 1½ years ago after living in Coram, NY. Lee was the owner and operator of Spartan Maintenance.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis G. (Satosk) Matthews of Hudson, his son, Lee Matthews of Vernon, CT, his daughter, Chimene Lantz and her husband Alan of Londonderry, NH, his granddaughter, Camryn J. Lantz of Londonderry and his nephew, Lee Lambertson.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 9th at 10:00am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 23 Library St., Hudson with cremation to follow. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6 - 9pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry.
