Obituary

WORCESTER – Grace E. (Cutty) Manion, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.

She was a loving and devoted mother who always put her family first.

She will be deeply missed, but only a thought away.

Her husband Roland H. Manion died in 1992. She leaves two sons Raymond F. Manion of Boylston and Richard R. Manion of Worcester; four daughters Patricia Prachniak of Woodstock, CT, Kathleen Lucht of Hudson, FL, Susan Finlay and Jacqueline Blondin both of Boylston; two brothers Allen Cutty of Auburn and Carl Cutty of Worcester; two sisters Phyllis Cusson of Worcester and Letty Williamson of Shrewsbury; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester.

Mrs. Manion was a stitcher for many years working for the David Clark Company as well as other area companies. She enjoyed sewing, crafting and knitting. She enjoyed trips to the casino and shopping. She was a former member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 7 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.RoyFuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street with a Mass at 11 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the UMASS Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
