Aurora M. (Ciccariello) Leydon, 87, a 45-year resident of Winchester, passed away Oct. 14, 2014. She was the beloved wife of John P. Leydon, and the loving mother of John M. Leydon and his wife Debra of Newburyport, Christopher Leydon and his wife Effie of Brooklyn, NY, Maria Leydon Henderson and her husband Douglas of Goleta, CA, and Stephanie Leydon and her husband Timothy Hoffman of Belmont. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held from the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Saturday, October 18 @ 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 155 Washington St., Winchester, at 10AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. Visiting Hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Aurora’s memory may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Ave., Somerville, MA 02143 or to the charity of your choice.
