Obituary




Angeline Rouleau, 81, of Lander, Wyoming, died on Monday, October 6, 2014 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Londonderry, NH on May 25, 1933 and was the daughter of Alfred and Angeline (Caron) Rouleau.
She graduated from St. George from St. George High School in 1950. She earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Anselm College and a master’s degree from Boston University in the 1970’s. In 1956 Angeline married John Laplante of Manchester, and they were married until 1975.
Angeline worked many years for the Manchester school district, teaching mostly 3rd and 4th grades at Gossler Park School and she also taught at St Augustine Grammar School.
After retirement, she continued to take college classes, and she travelled to Portugal, Greece, Japan and Korea.
She was a loving and giving person who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed nature, flower arranging, art, poetry, and spending time on the Maine coast.
Members of her family include a daughter, Angela Laplante of Lander, Wyoming; two grandchildren, Natalie (Toogood) Smith, Brian Toogood and several cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Parish of Transfiguration, 107 Alsace Street. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd.
