Alice L. (Connor) Malone, 89, formerly of Abington, died Friday October 10th at Madonna Manor Nursing Home in N. Attleboro, MA where she had been a resident for the past 5 months. She was surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born in S. Weymouth, daughter of the late John and Mary (Sullivan) Connor. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant before retiring in 1991.
She was the beloved mother of William Malone and his wife Eileen of Alexandria, NH and his first wife the late Kathleen (Ward) Malone, Kenneth Malone and his wife Donna of Middleboro, MA, David Malone and his wife Karyn of Hanson, MA and Sandra Ruzycki and her husband Daniel of Attleboro, MA. She was the sister to the late Margaret Conathan and her late husband Bill, Jim Connor of S. Weymouth Ma, and his late wife Anne, John Connor of NH and his late wife Helen, Catherine Regan of Iowa and her late husband Dick, Dorothy Rowe of Pembroke and her late husband Jack, and the late Donald Connor of GA and his late wife Ann. Nana to Wendy Rockne and her husband Jay, Amy Waterman and her husband Kris, Monique Simmons and her husband Steve, Joshua, Justin, Kasey, Jessica and Matthew Malone and Connor John Ruzycki and the late Theodore, Andrew and baby Angel Ruzycki. Great Nana to Ryan Malone, Olivia and Thomas Simmons and Caleigh Jordan and Veronica Rockne; also loved and missed by extended family Debby Ralph and children. She was the Aunt/Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 15th at 8:15AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 9:00AM in the St. Bridget Church, Abington, MA. Burial will be in the Centre Cemetery in Pembroke. Her visitation will be on Tuesday October 14th from 5:00-8:00PM.
