BROOKFIELD; Sandra C. Troy, 71, of 3 Sixth St., entered into eternal rest with her family by her side, Friday, October 10 at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
She leaves her husband, William F. Troy, two sons; John E. Troy and his wife Lucy of Jacksonville, FL., Gary S. Troy and his wife Stephanie of Raymore, MO., two daughters; Imogene “Emma” Benson and her husband Drew of No. Grafton and Brenda Sanders and her husband Mack of Worcester, two sisters; Shirley Martin and her husband Maurice of Kilmarnock, VA., Barbara McCrossin and her husband Gary of Caribou, ME., 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Sharon A. Troy of Dudley and several nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by three sons; Raymond F. Troy, William F. Troy, III, and James M. Troy, M.D.
Born in Webster, she was the daughter of Joseph & Sarah (Johnson) Robidoux.
Mrs. Troy worked as a clerk at Paul Revere Ins., Co.
She was a member of Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church in W. Brookfield. She enjoyed quilting, which she always made for her children and grandchildren, crafting and canning. She loved to make her own greeting cards. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and pajama parties with her daughter Emma.
The Funeral will be held Monday, October 13 from the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester, with a Mass at 10 A.M. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester.
Calling hours are Sunday from 5-7 P.M. in the Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date and at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
