Barry Curtis Kelly, 53, Boyd, Texas died October 2, 2014 following a weather related automobile accident near his home.
He was born on May 17, 1961 in Anderson, the son of Ronald Dean and Ruth Marie (Peavler) Kelly. He graduated from Frankton High School, and following an apprenticeship with Allied Roofers, began a career in construction work. Most recently he was employed by Big B Crane in Texas, working on oil rigs.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf in his leisure time.
He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Ruth Kelly of Anderson, his spouse, Diana Kelly of Boyd, TX, 4 children: Curtis Kelly ( Stephanie) of Frankton, Krystal Williams (Shauna) of California, Chloe Kelly and Courtney Kelly of Las Vegas. 4 Grandchildren: Conner Matthew Kelly, Emma Jo Kelly, Ethan Glenn Williams, and McKenzie Rae Williams. A brother, Vince Kelly (Karla) of Anderson, and a sister, Vivian Norviel (Michael) of Anderson, 3 nephews: Dakota Kelly, Michael Norviel II, and Daniel Norviel.
He was preceded in death by his niece, Kaliegh Kelly.
Visitation and celebration of Barry's life with the family will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 3-7 pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson.
