Agnes K. (Marinello) Trenga passed away peacefully at her Medford home with her family by her side. She was 80.
Agnes was born and raised in Boston’s North End, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Angelina (Primo) Marinello. A devoted and loving wife and mother Agnes was centered on raising and caring for her children. As they grew up, she worked part time as a customer service representative with Federal Express for over 15 years. As her grandchildren came along they became the focus and joy of her life.
The beloved wife of Anthony Trenga, she was a devoted mother to Susan Trenga of Reading, Ralph Trenga of Medford, Angela Matos and her husband Edward of Wakefield, Anthony Trenga and his wife Melissa of Medford. She leaves her loving and loved grandchildren: Justin, Jared, Kyle, Jocelyn, Julianne, AJ and Ben. She was a dear sister to Anthony Marinello and Katherine Scaramuzzo, both of Medford, the late Gussie Sanfilippo and leaves many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday morning October 13 from 9 to 10:30 followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Agnes’ name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
