Crystal Gail Whitley, 36, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, October 9, 2014, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, October 12, 2014, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Robert Couey officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, from 6 to 8, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Whitley was born February 4, 1978, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Mary Narcuss Pridgen Taylor of Fitzgerald and the late Billy Charles Whitley. She lived in the area all of her life and was a homemaker and caregiver. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and was an excellent decorator. Mrs. Whitley attended Crossview Baptist Church in Fitzgerald.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by husband: Christopher Clowers of Fitzgerald; brother: Stacy & Kim Frazier of Waycross; niece: Samantha Kay Thomas of Waycross; nephew: Anthony Luke Frazier of Fitzgerald; aunts: Barbara Brown and Shirley Knight both of Fitzgerald and Sarah Craft of Abbeville; cousins: Jeff Knight of Fitzgerald and Stephanie K. & Cliff McCraine of Rhine.
