Obituary

Robert Henry “Peewee” Roche, 80. The man, the myth, the legend, the king of Route 9 stopped aggravating everyone on Tuesday, October 7th, 20014.
He was born in Whitinsville the son of Ambrose and Florence (Snyder) Roche. He attended local schools in Worcester County. He enjoyed all types of sports, worked hard and was well versed in numerous occupations. The United States Army drafted him and he proudly served four years spending time in Germany while gaining everlasting life skills and friendships.
Peewee had a long time love affair with humor, music, singing, horse racing, Pringles, root beer, butter, playing the odds and all types of shenanigans. He was an avid Yankees fan.
Robert took extreme pride in his children, David Roche and his wife, Linette of Holden and Kelly Letourneau-Yeaton and her husband, Billy Yeaton of Dover, NH and his seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Robbie, Lydia, Payton, Celia, Madalenne and Michael. He leaves three brothers, Richard, Steve and Gerald together and separately they provided years of comic material. His brother, Ambrose Roche predeceased him. Peewee had numerous ladies in his life, Elaine, Florence (his mother), sisters, Fran Bergstrom, Nini Greeenwald, Ann Roche, Marylou, Linda, Lisa G, Andrea, Ashley, Angelina and the Leblanc sisters. Geraldine Hoose was his fiancé and loving companion for over 40 years. No stone was unturned with Bob, he experienced a life filled with love and laughter through numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and lifelong friends, Tom and Judy, David “Foul Ball”, David and Janet, Jay, Matt and his coworkers at ECS and bingo players everywhere.
David and Kelly would like to thank Dr. Cook, Chuckie, Russ, Kimberly, Elizabeth, Sue and all the fine people who helped Peewee live out his life in peace and quiet at home.
His funeral is Monday, October 13th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Sunday, October 12th from 4:00 until 6:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wentworth Hospice, 121 Broadway #115, Dover, NH 03820.
