PORTLAND- Jeanne Ellen Drew-Huntley Luke, age 52, passed away on Oct. 6, 2014 at Springbrook Center in Westbrook after a long courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born in Portland on Aug. 17, 1962, a daughter of the late Thomas Drew and Freda Huntley.
Jeanne lived a simple life in Portland with her greatest joy being her son – Caleb. She will always be remembered for her infectious smile and the enjoyment she had spending time with her family and friends or simply talking with them on the phone.
She is survived by her son Caleb Thomas Broomfield of Portland; siblings- Olivia McLellan and her husband Peter of Harrison, Frederick Huntley of Windham, Henry Huntley of Buxton, and Walter Huntley of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
A private graveside service will be held at South Buxton Cemetery at a later date.
