SACO- Richard Robert Ward Jr., age 50, of Burnham Road in North Saco, passed away on October 7, 2014 in Scarborough.
He was born in Malone, NY on May 17, 1964, a son of Richard Sr. and Dorothy (Pritchard) Ward.
Over the years he worked for Snow's Canning, Herman Shoe, and for Direct Mail of Maine in Scarborough for 22 years.
Richard enjoyed watching WWE and NASCAR events, and playing cards.
He is survived by his parents of North Saco; brother- Aaron Ward of FL, sisters- Pamela Croteau and her husband Gary of Old Orchard Beach and Kimberly McGahey and her husband Bruce of Saco; nephews- Eric, Justin and Alan; niece- Jennifer; great nephew- Cyler; and a great niece- Rori.
Richard's family would like to thank the staff at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House for their caring and support.
A graveside service will be held this Saturday, Oct. 11, at 11 AM at South Buxton (Tory Hill) Cemetery.
