Gerard “Jerry” Kennedy, 63, passed away on October 2, 2014 with his family gathered at his bedside. He lived in Valley Station and was a stagehand and a member of I.A.T.S.E. #17 for 31 years and a Coast Guard veteran. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Martha Kennedy; three brothers, Joseph, Bob and Jim Kennedy. He is survived by two sisters, Kathy Burns and Dorothy Meuse (Kenneth), both living in Florida. He also has many wonderful loving nieces and nephews in the Louisville area. In remembrance of the great guy Jerry was, there will be a “Celebration of Jerry’s Life” on Friday, October 10th at B.J.’s Sports Pub at 8238 Dixie Highway from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
