Obituary

SOUTH HADLEY – Eileen (Stark) Wildman, 90, a longtime resident of South Hadley, was Called Safely Home on Friday, October 3, 2014. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on January 20, 1924, a beloved daughter of the late John and Mary Ann (Page) Stark. She graduated from South Hadley High School in 1942 and lived in South Hadley for many years. She was active in South Hadley and was a member of the South Hadley PTA and a member and past president of Know Your Town. Eileen was also a Red Cross volunteer for many years. She was a wonderful homemaker to her family and showered them with her love and affection which was returned to her a thousand fold. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul H. Wildman who was Called Home on February 7, 1996. She leaves her devoted sons, Dwight P. Wildman and his wife, Laurie, of South Hadley, and James M. Wildman, Sr. and his wife, Joyce, of Chicopee; her three cherished grandchildren, James M. Wildman, Jr. and his partner, Amy Parks, Kurt R. Wildman and his wife, Hillary, and Jocelyn C. Wildman; her two cherished great-grandchildren, Henry and Molly Wildman; and her cherished nephew, Russell Adams. She also leaves her nieces, many loving friends and neighbors and extended members of the Wildman and Stark families. She will be sadly missed by her faithful companions, her beloved dog, Mandy and her beloved cat, Toby. Besides her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her loving brother and sister, Dennis Stark and Lily Stark Adams. Her funeral and burial will be private at the convenience of her family.
