Edna Mae Hunt was born on October 14, 1917 to Lee and Elma Winslow, in the home of her maternal grandparents near Overton, Nebraska. She lived with her family in that area until the family moved to Idaho during the Depression.
Before moving to Idaho, Edna made her choice to follow Jesus at the first Gospel Meeting she attended when she was 17 years old. She faithfully attended meetings of the Lord's People from that time until her death.
In 1940, Edna married William Carroll Hunt of Emmett, Idaho. They lived in that area until they moved to Grandview in 1947. They had four children, Harold, Gary, JoAnn and Terry.
Edna passed away Oct. 3rd at Sun Terrace Assisted Living in Prosser.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband in 2005, and her son, Terry in 2009.
She is survived by her sons, Harold and Gary, her daughter, JoAnn, her sister, Eileen, 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
