Auburn - George Ohan, 90, of 4 Pakachoag Street, died Wednesday evening, December 1, 2004 at the Med Center from injuries he sustained from being struck by a car in front of his home.
His wife of 36 years, Doris (Lee) Ohan died in 2000. He leaves his stepdaughter, Pamela and her husband Theodore Paluk of Leicester; a grandson, Christian Paluk and his wife, Heidi and two great grandchildren Abigale and Benjamin Paluk of Worcester, a stepson, William Guillow and his wife Ruth of Millbury, a niece, Annmarie Ohan of Worcester, a daughter-in-law, Ilse Ohan and three grandchildren of Germany. A stepdaughter, Jacqueline Harrington, his adopted son, Robert Ohan, and two brothers; Richard and Henry Ohan predeceased him.
Born in Worcester on February 14, 1914, he was the son of John and Nazly (Donabed) Ohan.
He graduated from Commerce High School and attended Northeastern University. He worked for many years at the former New England Power Company retiring in 1976.
Funeral services will be private and held at Worcester County Memorial Park.
