Obituary

W. David DiCicco, 96, of Auburn, passed away Saturday, October 4th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. His wife, Rita T. (Venditti) DiCicco, died in 2001. He leaves several nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces and his companion, Barbara Dupsha of Oxford. He was predeceased by his siblings, Alphonso, George, Theodore, and John DiCicco, Isabella Belsito-McCurn, Anna Kusek, Rena Buffone, and Mary Buffone.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Gaetano and Candelora (Eramo) DiCicco and moved to Auburn in 1966, where he owned and operated Dave DiCicco’s Mobil Service Station for 30 years, retiring in 1982. Mr. DiCicco was a member of St. Peter’s Parish, Worcester, and the Auburn/Webster Elks. He was an avid woodworker and restorer of antique cars.

Mr. DiCicco’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home for the compassionate care they provided for David.

The funeral is Wednesday, October 8th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum, Worcester. A visiting hour is from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Peter’s Parish, 929 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01610 or the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
