Wilhelmina “Gert” (Mello) Lima, age 94 of Westport and Dartmouth passed away October 5, 2014. She was the wife of the late Dennis Lima and daughter of the late Bento V. and Marianna (Tavares) Mello. She was a retired seamstress having worked at Stella Ann Frocks.
Gert is survived by her daughter Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Gaisford of Westport, brothers John and Joseph Mello of Westport, grandchildren Leah Beth Magrath of N. Dartmouth and Jason Kenneth Gaisford of Westport and great grandchildren Trevor and Alyssa Magrath and Brennan Gaisford. She was the sister of the late Mary Morel, Deolinda Nadeau, Manuel and Bento Mello.
Her funeral following cremation will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. at a day and time to be announced with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church. Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery.
