TEWKSBURY - Elaine C. (Pastorello) Papazian, age 62, a resident of Tewksbury for nearly
three decades, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the Middlesex East VNA Hospice House in Reading
after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of David J. Papazian, with whom she had celebrated a
28th wedding anniversary this past Oct. 24th.
She was born in Everett, Dec. 4, 1941, a daughter of Angelina (Salerno) Pastorello of Wakefield,
and the late Sebastian Pastorello. She was raised in Wakefield, and graduated Wakefield High
School with the Class of 1960. She had lived in Tewksbury for the past 28 years.
She was a communicant of St. Dorothy’s Church in Wilmington, and was a former CCD teacher
at the church.
She enjoyed a lifelong hobby of flower and vegetable gardening.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by four children; Derek Papazian and Ryan
Papazian both of Tewksbury, Lisa and her husband Jeffrey Miller of Hudson, David J. Papazian
Jr. of Natick; two grandchildren, Brandon and Megan Miller; two sisters and brothers-in-law,
Grace and Kirk Moran of Wakefield, Jean and Robert Coakley of Windham, NH; a brother and
sister-in-law, Charles and Genevieve (Waitt) Pastorello of Saugus; and many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Dec. 4, in St. Dorothy’s Church, Wilmington. Interment was in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the Middlesex East V.N.A. Hospice, 607 North Ave. - Suite 17,
