Jane Lenora Kirsch, 81, of Gulfport, FL passed away on Thursday September 18th. Mrs. Kirsch was born on June 25, 1933 in Kane, PA. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she met her husband, Walter Kirsch. Jane was an elementary school teacher in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and then Naperville, IL where she taught at Highland and Beebe elementary schools from 1967 to 1988. She is survived by her brother, John Ahlquist, who resides with his wife Peg in Spring Hill, Florida; her daughter Chris Keefe, who resides in Berlin, MA with her husband Jim; her son Craig Kirsch of Chicago; four grandchildren (Jessica Keefe and Nathan Keefe, who reside in Manchester, New Hampshire, Caitlin Keefe, who resides in Woburn, MA and Loren Gould who resides with her husband Chris in Worcester, MA) and two great grandchildren (Everett and Zoey Gould). Details for a memorial service to be held in St. Petersburg, FL will be announced.
