Irene (Moniz) Ferreira, 84 of Fall River & formerly of Somerset, passed away Sep. 28, 2014. She was the wife of the late Manuel S. Ferreira and the daughter of the late Jose C. & Mary (Ferreira) Moniz. Prior to retiring, Irene worked as a machine operator for various local textile manufacturers. She was a parishioner of St. John of God Church and a member of its Holy Rosary Society.
She is survived by her children: Robert Ferreira (wife Betty) & Roxanne Costa (husband Art) both of Somerset; 3 grandsons; 1 late granddaughter; & a great grandson.
Her private funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA on WEDNESDAY at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the SS.
